Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Evening hours by arrangement. Appointments are required. Located in the Donahoe Center off Route 20 in Ashtabula Township, the Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Center has been serving our community since 1920. The Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to helping persons of all ages who have communication and developmental disorders. Our staff is well qualified and experienced. The Speech Pathologists and Audiologists hold Masters degrees, and are licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and are certified by the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association. The Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Center is a certified Medicare/Medicaid provider and is licensed to dispense hearing aids by the Ohio Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Licensing Board. We are proud of our affiliations with: Senior Care Network, Family and Children First Council, Ohio Council of Speech and Hearing Center Administrators, and the Early Childhood Intervention Project. Fees: As a private non-profit, we are not a government agency and thus are not supported by tax dollars. We bill a variety of sources such as private insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare when they apply. Services which cannot be covered otherwise are offered on a sliding fee scale according to your family size and income. Referrals are not necessary in order to receive services, but they may be required by your insurance company. Appointments are required. Services include: Hearing Testing, Hearing Aid Sales and Service, Speech Therapy, Developmental Preschool, Transportation (limited), Deaf Services, and Community Outreach and Education.
